When Craig was 20, he fell off a ladder while apple-picking and broke the L4 vertebrae in his back. Doctors gave him a corset to wear and told him he would be a cripple for the rest of his life. Craig was not able to run and could only walk and move around with difficulty. After two years of praying and seeking the Lord for healing, Craig went to a meeting run by Team Missions in Motueka. One of the team prayed for his back and got a fright as he felt electricity run through his hand into Craig. Craig did not feel anything but when asked to try something he could not do before, he successfully went for a run! Craig believed God had healed him and when he got home, his back felt weird, like it was out of joint somehow, so he grabbed a ‘pull-up’ bar in his house and swung on it – his whole back went ‘click, click, click, click’ and felt amazing. When he went for a check up to the doctors they took an X-ray, looked at it, thought it was the wrong X-ray and took another one – where before there had been a broken L4 with dead tissue surrounding it, now there was a completely new L4, no calcification, and living tissue all around . . a completely normal back without any sign of a break!
