Healed from Cancer

Posted by David James on

In March 2015, my Husband, Craig Campbell, went and got a mole removed from his back. The doctor thought it was nothing, but lab results rang to say it was Melanoma. The results showed it was aggressive and had already grown down into his body and they weren't sure how deep as they had unknowingly cut through the cancer to take the mole off.

Somehow, right from the beginning, God gave us peace that this would not be death but for Life and His glory. Our church started praying with us for healing & right the way through we felt the power of that prayer.

Craig was referred to a melanoma surgeon who found another lump in his back and two more under his arm. (Meaning the melanoma had traveled from the mole into his lymph nodes). Pet/CT scan confirmed that these were cancerous and also showed two more spots down in his bowel. We were told that the pathology results from the mole was very bad & the fact it had spread into his lymph system was not good. The melanoma specialists we saw were seriously worried.

More prayer and worship ensued and by the time Craig had a colonoscopy, the spots in his bowel were gone. The doctors didn't quite believe it so ordered an MRI to check, but the spots were definitely gone.

In May, Craig had surgery to remove flesh around the mole site plus the lump in his back and all the lymph nodes from under his left arm. Results came back from the surgery that only one lymph node under his arm had melanoma and the lump on his back which was a lymph node with another beside it had melanoma. All three had completely contained the melanoma and anymore melanoma around the mole site had disappeared along with the second lump under his arm. Craig was given the all clear with no recommendations for chemo or radiation treatment!

God not only made cancer disappear, He set a table for us in the presence of our enemies. He provided peace & strength & faith & joy & rest & support & financial provision & resurrection power in the face of something trying to kill my husband. God has all the power & authority & victory and we are blessed to be His kids. PRAISE THE LORD!!!
